Famous Saying:
Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could only do a little.
- Edmund Burke
What to do with this famous saying
If you can give one can of food to the poor instead of 10, then one is better than none. If everyone did this, then we could feed all the poor. It all depends on each person doing a little that can make a big difference, not on a few people doing a lot.
Don't make the mistake thinking that your small efforts don't amount to anything. You're wrong if you think this way. Your efforts do count, you make a valuable contribution. Without you it is more difficult.
You are a valuable member of the team and play a significant role. See where and how you do. Have value and self worth, because what you do is important. One day you'll see why and how this is, in due time. Until then, do something, which is always better than nothing.
This quote says you should not give up because of discouragement and disappointment of not being able to recognize the value of your contribution if it comes only in small amounts. You can only do what you can, and if you are doing that you're doing fine. Just keep on!
