It don’t take no GED

What does this phrase or saying mean?

This is very similar to the phrases

It’s common sense

or

It’s not rocket science

Yet I will go a step further by saying this phrase makes something seem even less difficult and insulting if you can’t do it.

“It don’t take no GED” means it doesn’t take a GED or high school diploma to figure something out, therefore why should it take you much to figure it out if you have a GED or graduated high school.

If you can’t figure it out, and you should be able to then it’s like an insult.
