Ever wonder why a dog would do that? Above all, ever wonder how a dog as EVER going to catch its own tail, and also HOW LONG it would take for the dog to realize this?

Who are you to wonder…you do the same thing!

You surely have done the same thing in your life, pursues something that is futile and as I talked about in my last post, you’re chasing after the wind.

Yet you too are doing what a dog is doing when a dog chases after its own tail. So why do you chase after your own tail?

You do so because as obvious as it is to others, you just don’t realize you’re doing it. Yet if you took a moment and really gathered your thoughts, you’d realize it.

If you’re like me, you hate it when you find out you’ve wasted your time and chased your own tail, and have gotten nowhere. So what do you do? Do what I do when it happens to me…like it did today…

I hate waste and exercises in futility!

I hate it when a day gets seemingly wasted…so here’s what I do…I quickly try to find a way so it has not become a waste rather than just accept it as a waste.

I have a very strong drive to not waste: time…money…energy..effort…none of that…you can’t take any of it for granted anymore. Life is too short. Time moves by too quickly. Days become years it seems, the older you get.

So please learn the lesson I’ve learned by thinking carefully about these things….and notice how I turned my seeming waste into at least a return on my time (see also my previous post).

I got stuff out of it I can blog about without needing any research…I just write about my life lessons learned…so I “redeemed my time”…and there is my next post!

Bottom line- stop chasing your own tail! Do this now:

• Cut our losses and move on. You’ll be so glad you did!

• Realize when you’re chasing after the wind and stop

• Discard and eliminate all useless activity…stop chasing that tail!
