Infantry – “Follow Me”

The foot soldier sloshing through the mud in his clumsy boots, heavy ruck, bulky equipment, sweaty face and exhausted body is the most honorable and respectable sight and is in the most noble a profession and position in all of the armed forces, bar none.

I Am the Infantry

The infantryman deserves the greatest honor and respect, all of the other armed forces center around the infantryman who shouts “Follow Me” and leads the way – all the way.

The infantry is tough. It gives no quarter and demands a lot…your all…and then some.

Take a moment to pay your respects to the Infantry who give their all so you and I can be free. My hat’s off, to all of you Infantryman…you are the ones that everyone else supports, that win the wars.

What to do with this famous saying:

Take a moment out of your busy day and pay a brief moment of respect to that Infantryman, some young kid barely an adult, scared, yet confident, well trained and devoted to duty…ready to give his all, often doing so in difficult conditions and circumstances…and dealing with more things most people ever could.
